Margaret Kamara is a veteran currently serving in the United states army reserve nurse Corps as a psychiatric Mental health nurse practitioner, with over ten years of healthcare experience and seven years of military service. She is dedicated to protecting and serving the country and her community from suffering from mental health disorders. She is committed to providing individualized care to civilians, veterans, and active duty service members. Her goal is to help advocate for patients who struggle to be heard and understood and to manage their treatment with empathy and compassion.

Virginia Cares, Inc, is known for customizing our care to meet personal needs. That is why you can request one of our care professionals for as little as 2 hours and as much as 24 hours: daily, nightly, weekly or until care is no longer needed. We have RNs, LPNs, CNAs/GNA's, and companions available. Some services may be covered by Long Term Care Insurance. We accept most insurance plans including Medicare and can assist with securing coverage.

Home Care Aides: These staff provide the daily care in your home. After your initial visit with a case manager, a home care aide will be selected to best meet your particular needs. All our home care aides are certified and fully employed by Home Care Partners. We screen, interview, check references and do police and background checks on all applicants before employing them. We take care of all the taxes and appropriate insurance. Many of our employees have been through our own Home Care Aide Training School.
Case Managers: Our case managers are all licensed registered nurses. The case manager will come to your home to thoroughly discuss your needs and help you arrange the best service possible. At times, the case manager may even suggest other community resources that may supplement our home care service. Your case manager will visit you periodically but is also available by phone. The case manager also serves as supervisor for a group of home care aides. If ever there is a question or concern about your service, the case manager is the person to call!
Coordinator: The coordinator arrange the schedule for the home care aides. Our coordinator will try to assist you if you have any questions or changes that need to be made in your aide’s schedule.
Field Counselors: Our field counselor is an experienced licensed registered nurse who has been in this business for over 5 years can able to provide peer support and teaching to aides. The field counselors periodically visit the aides while they are working in clients’ homes in order to answer questions, provide information and demonstrate techniques.
Accounting and Computer Staff: These employees handle our agency budget, billing statements, and other matters related to our financial and computer systems.
Human Resources Staff: All employment and personnel matters are handled by our Human Resources department.
Manager of Education and Training: Coordinates our Home Care Aide Training School and the on-going continuing education for our staff.
Administrative: Our receptionist and clerical staff help to make sure that calls are directed properly and other clerical matters are handled promptly.
